Legacy Builders

I personally believe that every family has legacy builders. They are the ones who create the foundation for generational wealth and security for their family for generations. When you’re working diligently to build something that will forever change the course of your family, tremendous and often painful sacrifices are required.

There will be times  when you experience ups and downs, delays frustrations, people will come and go also.

Extreme dedication and perseverance is required to see it through and are major key elements to keep you focused especially when dealing with pressure from the outside.

The outside pressures perpetuated by others from the outside mostly comes from people who don’t understand the commitment needed to build real generational wealth for your family.

Many will see it as a waste of time, pipe dream, wishful thinking etc. One of biggest reasons why we don’t see a lot of real legacy building in our community is because too many cave in to the outside pressures because don’t have a clear picture and vision of how things will be once completed.

This doesn’t seem to be as prevalent in other ethnic groups as it is amongst us.

What I’ve seen in others is that they put their positive energy behind the ones making the moves because they have a clear understanding that if those individuals make it the collective or family does also. Unfortunately we’ve been conditioned to believe the conventional way of each person for themselves is the only way.  After all don’t we hear all the time “why don’t you get a real job or come down to earth and get real because you cannot live off of a dream?

Dare to be yourself even if that means means being by yourself for a season.

If you desire to be average and ordinary or in some cases as miserable as those barking at you go ahead and take their advice to heart. If not dare to step out and make it happen. But, be very clear in understanding the sacrifices that have to be made.
